the company
Based in Sydney, Australia, with engagements across the US, Asia and Europe. A decade of fielded, defence-grade battery management code sits behind both our products and our engineering services.
What we are
Energy Renaissance Defence designs, codes and builds sovereign energy systems for defence platforms. super6T/e, superBMS and superSentinel are the business. The engineering team behind them is also available to solve battery management problems on other platforms.
The work is deliberately narrow. One class of problem, worked for a decade: how to make a lithium-ion battery safe, inspectable and cybersecure in an environment that retires most electronics.
A decade on one problem
The engineering base was built over more than a decade. The defence programme below traces how it became a sovereign NATO 6T energy system with an evidence pathway procurement teams can review.
2020
Defence-focused battery development and technical validation established.
2021
Australian sovereign supply positioning for security and procurement review.
2022
MIL-PRF-32565C certification process commenced for the NATO 6T standard.
2023
Vehicle, standards and integration evidence expanded for programme review.
2024
100% Australian-developed BMS code architecture advanced for defence energy systems.
2025
Public super6T/e focus aligned to datasheet facts and evidence pathways.
One team, one roof
The algorithms, the boards, the wiring and the enclosure are designed together rather than negotiated between suppliers. Integration problems get solved at the source, whichever discipline they fall in.

How we operate
Australian design, manufacturing support and field support give defence teams a local evidence pathway for Australian and allied programmes, and a second source for procurement teams managing import risk.
Public claims stay tied to the current datasheet, controlled evidence requests and precise qualification language. Where a standard is in progress, it is described as in progress.
